Basketball

I'll be posting on college basketball for a time.

  1. Those who know me should be aware that I consider Frank Martin, basketball coach at K-State to be a "bad" person. Why?

As the coach at a successful sports program, he surely knows that he has influence on the coaches of the basketball 'little leagers' in his state. And what is his influence (message)saying? Well, openly humiliate kids and they will play better! This is really sick stuff.Sure he's dealing with older kids at K-State, but public humiliation at any age is bullying,at best, and serious psychological dangers,in many cases.

So "bad" guys can win games, and to hell with decency.

  5. Hank, you're a faithful friend. Had great Christmas with my grandkids. Just for you: My oldest grandkid---Jack---is the favorite "altar boy" at the church. He's 14.
