Abortion by the numbers.

Maybe a point or two of clarification might be helpful.

Overruling Roe v. Wade would NOT make abortions illegal. Such action would simply return the decision to the states. Those with money would have no problem going to a state where abortions were legal. The poor would go to the "back alley."

The basic hypocrisy of the extreme "pro-lifers" is that they would NOT punish the women who tells the doctor to commit "murder", but only the doctor. The pro-life argument is that the women who have abortions don't know what they are doing. So assume a women with a Ph.d in biology from Harvard has an abortion. Does she not know what she is doing?

McCain, the pro-life candidate, makes exceptions for rape and incest. This is in direct contrast to the Church's teaching. If a woman claimed she was raped he would take her word for it. Really?

Only approximately 10 percent of Americans agree with Church's position (no abortions). No real difference between numbers from Catholics and others.

70 per cent of American favor allowing abortion in cases of rape and incest.

73 percent favor allowing abortion for women's health.

56 percent of Americans favor allowing abortion to help mother's mental health. 28 per cent oppose.

53 percent of Americans favor abortion if fetus has fatal birth defect. 30 per cent oppose.

62 per cent of Americans believe the extreme position on abortion should be compromised.

Is this America or Vatican City?

Oh, yes, I know the majority is not always right. But should a small percent dictate to the whole country?

Jack,a very small percentage dictated the foundation of The Catholic Church at the beginning and to try and dissect The Church that Christ started in order to find the mistakes that you might think are being done to it nowadays is not going to be easy.

Forgive me if I’m wrong but it appears to me, like you’re going around trying to correct what you think might be wrong in a non-Christian way.

It also appears to me like you’re running around as someone who’s wearing wet see through shorts while teaching what you think is wrong with The Catholic Church nowadays.

Who knows, maybe you might really possibly have good intentions in trying to set lost Christians in a straight and narrow way by drawing them into your lair and then showing them the way to Christ again.

But then again, you might even be playing the devil’s advocate and seriously wanting to do The Will of Christ by simply intending to draw some of the devil’s staff of non Christians in your corner then perform your special magic and convert them all at once to Christianity.

The only way that we could possibly know your true intension would be to try and look into your heart and as we all know, that’s not possible for any human.

I’ve got to hand it to you Jack, and I must confess that you’ve fooled me but nevertheless, I’m not going to abandon you because for some reason, I see potential in you. Are you sure that you’re not one of my imaginary spiritual friend from the hotel of fool trying to play tricks on me?

Don’t you think that even if you believe that I’m totally specious also, we should at least agree that the last Word really belongs to Jesus Christ because it’s His Church that you’re trying to set straight.

Good Luck Jack cause you’re going to need “IT” and I’ll also be praying for you and if your intention is really to attract Satan and then convert him, then continue what you’re doing cause it’s just a matter of time before you attract some of his followers your way.

I hope that the majority of Christian don’t find you Luc warm and then team UP with Catholics and try spitting you out.

    God Bless

Peace to all and to all a good night.

  2. On the topic of abortion, even many people who defend the possibility of legal abortions, they say they are not pro-abortion, but they don’t want to punish women who are in this difficult situation. In Germany a curious thing has happened. Something that reflects that legal abortion affects adversely to the country. And also that the change is possible: you can promote a culture of life with the support of the citizens, when really there is a real wish of avoid abortions. Since the liberalization of abortion in this country, the number of abortions is officially four million. For that reason, among others, children are seen as an unintended effect of having sex. Many people thought it was necessary to promote greater social acceptance of children in an aging society. And civil society acted, without waiting for action by the State to promote births. They joined several media organizations in a campaign. Interestingly, after the campaign, the birth rate has risen in Germany. The video is exciting.
